Cosplay Photoshoot: Edge of Tomorrow

Adding to his vast collection of already impressive mech and robot suits, Brooklyn RobotWorks decided to create a replica of Tom Cruise's Exo suit from 2014's Edge of Tomorrow film. The Exo suit, which was actually produced before the actual release of the film, is a near accurate reproduction. Unlike  Brooklyn RobotWorks' previous robot suits, this one contained a human element to it.

I had the honor of shooting the suit during it's first public outing. After having seen the film twice, and greatly enjoying it, the Exo suit has become my favorite of the Brooklyn RobotWorks creations. Posted below are a few photos our Edge of Tomorrow photo shoot. Please refer to kotaku.com's article to view several more photos from this shoot.

The Art of the Mix: Mix CD covers I designed over the years.

Several years ago, through a former co-worker, I became part of a local New York City music trading group. This group met once a month to trade unique mix CDs that were created by each participating member. Known as the "CD Mix of the Month", or CDMOM for short, the goal of our group was simply to share the music we loved and to help others discover an array of new music. We operated under the premise that music should not be kept a secret. I discovered many new bands and purchased many albums thanks to our monthly trade. The group started as an offshoot of a larger nationwide mailing list, and while CDMOM no longer meets on a monthly basis, reunions are still held on occasions.

Xbox One vs. PS4: My 2 Cents on the 8th Generation Console War

I was inspired to write this article after watching an episode of South Park entitled "A Song of Ass and Fire."

After backlash, Microsoft says users can play offline, share games on Xbox One @757Live
Xbox One
The 8th Generation of Video Game consoles have arrived! All the excitement is upon us! What console will win the war? Is it the PS4 with it's awesome new controller? Or is it the Xbox One, the all-in-one entertainment unit that will give me ever reason to never leave my couch again? Who will be the first amongst my friends to own one? Can I get to the stores early enough to buy one on Black Friday?

My answer to all of the above questions is, "WHO CARES!?".

An interview with Kamal Brown, the BMO toy creator

I was hoping to catch up with Kamal Brown at this year's New York Comic Con to conduct this interview, but unfortunately we kept missing each other during all the insanity,  Kamal is the maker of a custom Adventure Time BMO video game unit which stole the show at Comic Con. As you will see, his BMO unit is a fully functional and features an array of life-like facial expressions.

New York Comic Con Review - Day 3

On Saturday, the 3rd day of New york Comic Con, capacity at the Javits Center usually reaches it's peak. Trying to walk across the main exhibitors show room on a Saturday is worse than walking through Times Square during the height of the holiday season. It's the most grueling, yet fun, day at the event.
