Some of the toy/statue lines Kotobukiya exhibited included their exclusive DC "New 52" statues. While I'm not a fan of the "New 52" comicbooks, I can't help but say that this toy line does looks hot! Kotobukiya has also recently acquired the Man of Steel motion picture license and will introduce a series of figures to coincide with the film's release. One of the more exciting items on display was the Iron Man Mark 42. This Asian import stands 15 inches tall and is a pre-painted, easy to assemble snap-fit ARTFX statue. It will be available in July of 2013, just in for the release of Iron Man 3.

Toy Fair International 2013: Kotobukiya USA
To say that the Kotobukiya USA booth at Toy Fair International was quite impressive is an understatement. Founded in 1951 as single toy store, it wasn't until 1985 that the company began manufacturing it's first original toys. With close to 60 years of toy expertise under it's belt, Kotobukiya decided in 2009 to form a USA team to meet the demand of a more global market. Kotobukiya's toy and statue lines can be found in most comicbook and toy specialty stores around the United States. Compared to their competitors, Kotobukiya offers what I'd like consider a more reasonable price range for it's regular and snap-fit statues, while still being able to maintain higher end quality
